Milagros, an extraordinary bear: watch the trailer here

The director Eduardo Schuldt brings to the big screen a great message for children and adults: the recovery and protection of our environment.
Based on the award-winning book by Hernán Garrido-Lecca, winner of the 2014 National Environmental Award, “MILAGROS, AN EXTRAORDINARY BEAR” is a production of Chaska Entertainment.
In addition, it marks history and importance in the film industry, after being certified as the first Climate Positive animated film in the world. Backed by United Nations standards, it was awarded once the Green Initiative certification cycle was passed, a process that lasted about four months and where the balance between: (a) emissions generated during production was analyzed; (b) offset emissions; and (c) positive impacts on nature promoted by the film. https://greeninitiative.eco/milagros-and-friends/
“‘Milagros’ is the first book I wrote thinking that it could eventually be made into a movie. It took me almost 7 years to find the opportunity to do it. Both the book and the movie show that conserving our environment is not only essential but possible. By measuring and offsetting our carbon footprint and, furthermore, having a positive impact on nature, we wanted to be consistent with the path that ‘Milagros’ points out to us. This is a topic of our time and it is up to us to generate new references, including in the film industry”, says the Producer of the film and Chaska Entertainment Hernán Garrido-Lecca about the tape.
The tender story of this family film has ‘Milagros’ as its protagonist, a bear with great intelligence and courage who has the gift of understanding human language. She, together with her friends, will live a thousand and one adventures facing the challenges of nature and the cruelty of man to save her brother and preserve her species. The film that will present the natural wonders of the Amazon seeks to inspire adults and children to be more responsible to preserve and protect our environment.
