Directed by renowned filmmaker Joel Calero, starring Lucho Cáceres and Juana Burga, a Peruvian international model who debuts with her first appearance in a Peruvian film.

Part of a trilogy that began with multi-award winning, “La Última Tarde” and will continue with “Álbum de Familia” (in the post-production process),

“La Piel Más Temida” tells the story of Alejandra, a young woman who returns to Cusco, in Peru, after 20 years. After carrying out the procedures, she discovers that her father, who she thought was dead, is actually imprisoned for having been a member of a subversive group. This is when she proposes to meet the man who abandoned her when she was 3 years old.

His journey will become his inner transit to discover his ancestor alone, his country and his own identity. This is the second film of a projected political-filmic trilogy centered on the years of the period of internal conflict and political violence that shook Peru between the years 1980-2000.
