Pampa: the Peruvian brand that is making its way in Europe and Asia
Pampa The Brand is the brand created by D’Perú Textil. It has successfully participated in international fairs exporting to the European and Asian markets.
Part of their success is the approach they give to craftsmanship combined with the nobility of raw materials and design. Its processes are both ecological and traditional, promoting ethical and sustainable trade.
Víctor Pérez as Angélica Leyva, are the creators of the brand, thought from the Peruvian Andes. Víctor, the Creative Director and Designer of the brand, was born in Ayacucho and was raised by a artisan from Cusco who is passionate about alpaca fiber and who uses ancient techniques. At an early age he had the opportunity to formally study Fashion Design with a specialization in weaving.
Angélica, the General Director, was born in Huancavelica and grew up in Huancayo. She worked alongside her mother who made and sold products from her home. She traveled to many of the village fairs, interacting with local textile artisans where she learned more about traditional customs. She followed the career of Textile Engineering.
As a result, in 2010 D’Peru Textil SAC was founded, a company specialized in the design, production and marketing of merchandise made with Peruvian fibers. Over time they developed Pampa, a brand with a contemporary minimalist style, which symbolizes the union between textile tradition and contemporary elegance, the naturally chic.
