Miu Miu presents “upcycling” first collection with digital passport
A very complete fourth collection with clothing, accessories, all designed with revalued raw materials. Miu Miu faces new challenges in the world of fashion.
The “upcycling” collection is part of Miu Miu’s ready-to-wear collection, denim garments with a golden undertone, with a worn effect, hand-embroidered with jet black florals, patterns designed in an image.
“The collection is a limited edition of denim creations, including ready-to-wear garments and accessories that have been deconstructed and remodeled through a process designed to reuse as much fabric as possible”
With a commitment to circularity, revalued fabrics and garments from stores and shops specialized in the sale of vintage and second-hand pieces, it becomes the first collection in the series of the new digital passport for all items that aspire to be marketed within of the community borders of the European Union.
Denim is the raw material chosen here as the basis for this new proposal that revalues vintage garments in denim fabric, with textile innovation processes.
