With her representative Y2K aesthetic, designer María Escoté creates a collection merging her own codes with those of Desigual, with a collab with a lot of personality.

Available on the Desigual website and a selection of its stores around the world, the collection is the fourth capsule designed by María Escoté, with whom she has been collaborating since September 2020.

Since then and year after year, it has been renewing and evolving its own vision of the Desigual brand, and on this occasion it presents a new Autumn/Winter season.

In a Desigual statement, Escoté stated: “Knowing that many people feel empowered, beautiful, smart or creative every time they wear one of my garments… it couldn’t make me happier.”

The main concept lies in the Y2K (Year 2000) aesthetic as well as the rhythms and aesthetic movements that were part of the 90s and early 2000s. Prints, color combinations and illustrations with a marked oriental tone in the style of Escoté.

The pieces are based on indigo blue and black and indigo blue, which are complemented with striking tones such as red, green roses, or even violets. The garments make up total looks as well as individually they say a lot, as they complement each other.
