Diesel and Lee: competitors join forces in new alliance

As part of its Diesel Loves program, this time the denim brand has joined forces with one of its biggest competitors, the renowned Lee.

The goal of Diesel Loves is to raise the industry standard through collective creativity and address the recurring problem of overproduction.

The Italian fashion brand Diesel brings together brands to share both manufacturing and creative resources and propose pieces and designs together. Diesel Loves, is an idea created by creative director Glenn Martens.

With this initiative, the Diesel program makes its unsold stock available to a joint creative team and the invited brand must do the same. The result will be a limited edition capsule made entirely from existing materials. Additionally, 100 percent of profits will go to UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency through the OTB Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Diesel’s parent company.

The first partner is the American Lee, with jeans that are a mix of Diesel on the front and Lee on the back or vice versa. There are 3,000 unique pairs of Diesel Loves Lee jeans.

Available on Diesel.com for Europe and Japan, with the full collection available in March 2024 via both brands’ websites.
