A capsule collection that captures the best of both designers and their creative friendship. Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs bring two iconic pieces in commemoration of the designer’s 40th birthday.

All year round there is a celebration for the Marc Jacobs brand. The designer, together with his great friend Anna Sui, brings an exclusive Snapshot bag with his well-known illustrations of “Miss and Mister Marc” in Sui’s characteristic colors, purple and black. And also, a varsity-style university jacket adorned with both of their initials and the detail of the year 1984 when the brand was founded.

The limited edition capsule shows the type of relationship between Jacobs and Sui, a unique and easily recognizable aesthetic, as well as their playful air in each piece.

The story of both goes back to the eighties, when a teenager Jacobs was a teenager who worked at the renowned Charivari store and Anna Sui was his client. Then, over time, the friendship was forged in the nineties, which led to their collaborations, which show how interesting their friendship is, which is an ode to their most recognized works, their vision of fashion and their affection for each other.

In 2018 they made their first capsule together called “Marc & Anna” with t-shirts, sneakers and keychains, unveiling their illustrations “Miss and Mister Marc” by Will Broome. The success was repeated when Sui intervened in the Marc Jacobs collection called heaven with her spring collection, which increased her international fame in 1997.
