Children are the main driving force and motivation behind Sharing For Kids, a non-profit organization that supports improving the health and education conditions of children in Latin America.

With more than twenty years of experience, the work of the volunteers of this organization who build a future for the children of the Latin American region, especially in Cartagena, Colombia, have forged activities that generate important contributions through sponsors and donors, to improve the institutions that support and provide both health and education.

Among its many activities, we recently attended the event “El Arte Une Corazones” (Art Unites Hearts) where the talent of two Colombian artists, Isabella Mebarak (Barranquilla, Colombia) came together with an exhibition of plastic arts. Antonella Farah (Cartagena, Colombia) also participated with sustainable fashion pieces. Both artists offered their art for the fundraiser.

Mebarak even spent around 3 months researching, sketching and creating these pieces after visiting Galerazamba and getting involved with the Foundation.

One of the objectives for 2024 is to send a medical brigade on November 16 to Galerazamba, in the Bolivar region (Colombia) to provide care, vaccination, and delivery of medicines to the population. As well as to provide orientation, prevention, and hygiene care talks. With different specialties that include bacteriology and physiotherapy, among others, the aim is for said brigade to support the area.

Every moment and every action counts, and more people can volunteer for the cause through the organization.
