Review: Guerlain Bee Garden
For the first time in its history, Guerlain joins the start-up OASHE, winner of the Sustainable Beauty Challenge sponsored by Cosmetic Valley and LVMH Recherche, creating a 100% recycled perfume.
Upcycling is to recreate fragrances from finished products with olfactory history is a unique exercise. Guerlain presents a special limited edition fragrance as part of its 170th anniversary of the famous “Abeilles” bottle.
Céline Cléron is the artist who has designed the new bottle with golden touches, showing her commitment to protect biodiversity. For the concept, the artist affirms that the Flacon aux Abeilles is an emblem of the brand’s heritage and history, where fauna and flora mix. Bees and butterflies flutter in 24-carat gold flowers. The bottle is limited edition, with a price of 60,000 euros.
A fruity floral fragrance from the Thierry Wasser nose. With top notes of rhubarb and bergamot; heart with neroli, jasmine and rose. The background is fresh and powdery with cedar, black tea and sandalwood.
