Review: Good Girl Blush by Carolina Herrera
CH’s new release and promise this year is Good Girl Blush. From the Cyprus Floral olfactory family, it is designed for Women and seems to set an olfactory trend this 2023.
I know, I am obsessed with Carolina Herrera fragrances. And it is that if there is something that I have to recognize about how I feel every time I try them, it is that there is a balance between intrepid and seductive aromas without ceasing to be elegant.
This 2023 is definitely for renewal, and this perfume shows it. Created by Quentin Bisch, Shyamala Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud. In the packaging that has become the favorite of many, now in a pastel pink version with a gold heel, it is very feminine and contrasts from its composition.
For its composition, the Herrera house has partnered with Givaudan, a fragrance manufacturer with the sustainable Sourcing4Good program that promotes responsible sourcing and fair trade with native producers of raw materials. The fragrance is 100% vegan.
As you know, every perfume that I like makes me fall in love with bergamot, and this one has it in its top notes along with mandarin. The heart notes are peony, rose water and ylang-ylang, the latter ingredient replacing the jasmine in the original version, working with molecules mixed with recycled rose water. Consequently, it gives a floral potential and durability in peony leather. The strength of the base notes are in vanilla and tonka bean.
