This summer, London is set to host a monumental fashion event as the Gianni Versace Retrospective opens its doors at Arches London Bridge on July 16, 2025.

This exhibition promises to be the UK’s largest-ever showcase of original Versace designs, featuring over 450 iconic garments and accessories that have never before been displayed in the country.

A Journey Through Versace’s Visionary World

Curated by Karl von der Ahe of Dreamrealizer, the retrospective offers an immersive experience into the creative genius of Gianni Versace. Spanning 21 collections from Spring/Summer 1988 to Autumn/Winter 1997–98, the exhibition highlights the designer’s fearless innovation and bold aesthetic. Visitors will encounter opulent baroque prints, daring bondage designs, and the vibrant energy that defined Versace’s work during the late 80s and 90s.

Icons of Fashion and Culture

The exhibition features garments worn by cultural luminaries such as Princess Diana, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Sir Elton John, and George Michael. These pieces not only showcase Versace’s craftsmanship but also his ability to intertwine fashion with music, art, and celebrity culture. Original catwalk footage, photographs, and personal sketches further enrich the narrative, offering a comprehensive look at the designer’s impact on the fashion world.
