Launched in 2009, the video game “Borderlands” immediately captivated gamers from all over the world until it quickly became a saga. Now comes the cinematic version and is directed by Eli Roth (who filmed “Toc Toc” in Chile) and Tim Miller (“Deadpool”), with proven Hollywood talents who come together to be at the height of the imagination developed by the software.

“Borderlands” takes place on the planet Pandora. Attracted by seemingly vast mineral deposits, many colonizing ships from the Dahl Corporation (one of many diverse megacorporations that apparently control and govern space) travel to build settlements. Mining operations are carried out by a huge group of convicts brought to the planet by the corporation itself.

The first images revealed show the silhouette of Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Patricia Tannis, Kevin Hart as Roland, Claptrap (animated with the voice of Jack Black), Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina and Florian Munteanu as Krieg.
