The details of Jennifer Lopez’s wedding dresses by Ralph Lauren
A design house, three dresses and a bride. The union of Jennifer Lopez and Ralph Lauren was another super union in addition to their wedding in Georgia. The same designer house Ralph Lauren has published photos detailing the making of each of her dresses.
The main dress was that of the main ceremony, “the handkerchief wedding dress reimagines a high-neck column gown with the addition of a dramatic ruffled hemline,” the house shared in a press release. “Over 1,000 hand-cut scarves and 500 meters of fabric were cut into ruffles and stitched together by hand, creating a voluminous and romantic skirt. The intricately constructed sleeve is inset with a cascading ruffle, draped from the back of the high neckline to the shoulder to create a romantic, heritage-inspired sensibility.”
The dresses for the reception and the celebrations could not be missing. And in that case, they opted for two dresses also from the same house that showed the versatility of styles that the artist possesses. One of them in a retro cut, adorned with chandelier-style pearls and the other in a mermaid silhouette with Swarovski crystals, with a full skirt and an organza cape.
It was the second dress that had 30 people working on it for 700 hours “to hand embroider the dress with micro-pleats of silk tulle, tiny pearl embellishments and Swarovski crystal,” according to Ralph Lauren himself.

More than 1,000 hand-cut scarves and 500 meters of fabric were cut into ruffles and joined by hand, creating a voluminous skirt with romantic nods. The sleeve is inset with a cascading ruffle, draped from the back. Pure romance.
