H&M Group creates personalized clothing with the use of AI for the first time
H&M Group has Creator Studio, the on-demand merchandise printing service, has introduced the first use of AI with generative custom clothing creation tool.
Creator Studio CEO Dinesh Nayar was very precise about their mission in a statement: “Our mission at Creator Studio is to empower and enable any creator to express themselves through merchandise. Finding new ways to reduce barriers for our “Our clients create content is what we tirelessly pursue. Exploring and integrating a seamless AI artwork creation tool is a natural step for us to embark on this journey.”
It can be sold or bought instantly and sustainably through the H&M Group’s global printing and logistics infrastructure.
The new tool helps create mockups, produce garments with custom AI-generated visual artworks. Users can design and create like artists, just based on text input.
Creator Studio’s text-to-image feature uses artificial intelligence to transform garment mockups, printed with custom visual illustrations into a variety of preset styles.
Through True Blanks by Creator Studio offers a growing selection of designs in clothing and accessories for men, women and children made with 100 percent organic cotton or recycled polyester.
