Colombia Runway Show at Paraiso Miami Beach during Swim Week
10 Colombian designers flocked to Miami for the third annual destination: Swim week. Beautiful designs on the catwalk.
For the third consecutive year, the union between ProColombia and Paraíso Miami Beach, in an effort to promote the growth of Colombian brands. With sustainable components that ethically design and respect the manufacture of each collection.
“The industry has been gaining global recognition over the last decade, we are currently the number one supplier of swimwear in Latin America to the United States and the number 9 supplier worldwide. Our country offers unique swimwear designs at the forefront of global trends, incorporating innovative techniques and sustainable fabrics and practices. We are also known for our delivery times and our flexibility in production volumes. Specifically in the United States, between January and May 2022, it has grown more than 70% compared to the same period in 2021 and reached exports of more than $8 million dollars,” says Flavia Santoro, president of ProColombia.

The participating brands are: Alma Arena, Bahama Mama, Bahia Maria, Palmacea Swimwear, Smeralda Swimwear, Mar de Lua, Mola Mola, Puntamar, PQ Swim, Praia.
