Audi Peru joins the fight against breast cancer
According to Oncosalud’s data, 20 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Peru every day, and 5 of them die the cause of this disease. Similarly, EsSalud has detected more than 1,500 new cases nationwide since August of this year. This figure represents an increase of 10% with respect to the same period of the previous year.
In this sense, the health authorities recommend going to specialized establishments to carry out preventive exams, such as mammography and breast ultrasound.
Audi Perú, for the fifth consecutive year, in an alliance with Estée Lauder, adds efforts to raise awareness of the importance of carrying out preventive checks and improvements in access to early diagnosis and timely treatments. In this context, the German brand joins the creators of the emblematic lazo rosa through the #TimeToEndBreastCancer campaign, whose goal for this 2022 is to support thousands of women with few resources who have access to a mammography free of charge.
As an ally of this campaign, the brand of four rims will coat the vehicle insignia of this 2022, the renewed Audi A3 Sportback, in pink. In addition, the Audi Zentrum Derby will light up in pink with the aim of symbolizing support for this noble cause. In the same way, on social networks, Audi Perú will promote prevention and awareness among the whole community that day by day is maintained in the fight against this neoplasm.
Audi held an awareness event at the Audi Zentrum Derby, led by an expert in prevention, health and self-care, and which included a sports class led by Quarzo.
