Victorias FC: for the future of girls
Women’s football in Peru is reflected in a new generation of women and girls who are looking for their space in the beautiful game.
Diversity in football has been talked about for some time. However, there is still a long way to go. The fields with the most spectators in women’s tournaments are increasingly reflected, but it still does not scale to the levels of a large stadium. That dream that used to belong to boys, or rather, society attributed it to them, today is the dream shared by hundreds of girls in the country. And it is that opportunities are for everyone, and this is how the formation of Victoria FC begins, opening paths towards change.
The women’s training soccer academy was created in August 2021 and receives small groups from 4 years old to adults of all ages. Victorias FC, is a sports space specially designed and created for the comfort of the students on a physical and even more important emotional level. The details are important and part of this principle to meet needs and requirements in the classes. Communication and teamwork prevail in both groups.
Like all teamwork, it requires a head, a group leader. They have two professional teachers, one main and one assistant. In this way, the ideal environment is created where a healthy life is promoted, away from stereotypes and promoting social and sporting values.
The only requirement to enter is that they like soccer and have the desire to develop in this sport.
