OLI Foundation promotes this Christmas to combat extreme poverty in Peru
The OLI Foundation, together with its Corazones Solidarios program, seeks to develop health, education, environment and empowerment programs in vulnerable areas of Peru.
The purpose of the project is to empower mothers and fathers in need, through the assembly of different crafts made from leftovers from the textile industry and, for this year, there will be different products that can be purchased as Christmas decorations. .
Since last year, the foundation has been actively working to add more Solidarity Allies, as entities that share the same mission of working for equal opportunities from their position.
“Due to the joint work with other institutions, we have included empowerment and sustainable development workshops for children and young people, future agents of change, thanks to United Peruvian Youth (UPY). In the same way, the Instant Lenses team joined with ophthalmological campaigns for children and the elderly”, concludes Diana Crousillat, director of the OLI Foundation.
In a pleasant brunch in which ambassadors of the foundation participated, such as Denisse Dibós, Roger Loayza, Rosalyn and Katherine Picón, as well as the actor José Dammert, they joined efforts to spread the Corazones Solidarios program, which seeks to empower parents family in need, whose children undergo medical treatment.
